‘Out of Town’ (or away from the traditional commercial centre) retail and business activity has grown in many locations throughout the world.
- Discuss why such locations pose problems for good public transport provision.
- Using one good and one poor example of an ‘out of town’ site, critically compare the role played by public transport at each one.
- Outline the good practice that can be applied when planning such facilities in the future to enable them to be well served by public transport
