The aim of this paper is to research and review a scientific statistic, appraise the validity of the source, and critically assess the plausibility of the statistic based on scientific fact though literature. Write a two- to three-page, double-spaced paper following APA format using at least three references and follow the instructions below. [MO2.1, MO2.3]

- Find an official statistic that sounds plausible.
- Explore its origins and investigate the statistic.
- Describe your findings (including the scientific reasoning) and as you conducted your research.
- Comment on whether or not the statistic is deemed plausible.
- Support your decision with evidence.
