Week 7 – Part I – The 1950s
If history repeats itself, then the 1950s seem extremely similar to the 1920s. America, once again, was delivered fairly unscathed from the impact of the second world war, which left America ahead in the race to “rebuild.” As the soldiers came home, America would see a boom in terms of economic growth, and therefore consumption of goods, cars, music, inventions, etc.
So, like before, cite your textbook and explain how America expanded in this era in terms of social, political, and economic endeavors.
