1. Describes how the paper will be organized, including the specific sections and subsections.
2. Provides an orienting paragraph so the reader knows what the paper will address.
This research paper is not a place to address personal experiences or events in your school or organization.
1. Use formal tone and scholarly language throughout the review,
2. Avoid contractions (e.g. can’t, doesn’t, etc.) and casual, informal language,
3. Do not address your readers as “you.” Instead of using “we”, be specific (teachers, educators, policy makers, etc.),
4. The content is covered in depth without being redundant.
