Mechanical properties of concrete pavement at different temperature (cube experiment)
Lab work has been carried out, two kind of test (C35 grade concrete was used)
- Schmidt hammer test
- Hydraulic compression test
Compare two methods of results, in terms of accuracy. Both methods are important. Certain temperature cube can’t get 100% strength why is that explain
17 cube has been constructed and put it different temperature. After 28 days experiment has been conducted. First test on Schmidt hammer all the cubes which are non- destructive method and obtained the results (compressive strength). 2nd test is hydraulic compression test (crushed strength) which also got compressive strength at all the cubes at different temperature.
Schmidt hammer and Hydraulic compression test (28 days cube) %.
