Legislation
Search for current AND pending legislation related to that issue. You can begin your search using the AOTA website, state OT association websites, and the Library of Congress website (www.thomas.gov (Links to an external site.) Links to an external site.). Find at least 4 pieces of legislation, with at least one of them a pending legislation (it has not become a law yet). If you cannot find legislation specific to the issue, try to find something similar.
- Written in essay format with an introduction and conclusion (be sure to use and cite APA format). Paper should be no more than 4 pages, references not included.
- A brief description of each piece of legislation (in your own terms, if writing verbatim need to cite appropriately)
- The current status of the legislation
- A one paragraph synopsis of how the legislation relates to your identified issue.
