Details of the task Organisations need to keep up to date with rapidly moving discrimination law and adjust their policies/practices accordingly.
You are asked to write a report to the Managing Director outlining the Equality Act and its potential implications upon organisations. In the report you need to:
• Summarize the Equality Act
• Outline the changes made from previous discrimination legislation
• Outline the potential problems with the Equality Act and discuss any relevant case law
• Make recommendations on how organisations can implement measures, modify policies and procedures, to ensure compliance with the Equality Act
Through your discussion, outline a minimum of TEN employment law cases and at least FIVE references to appropriate statues.
