Why no revolution ?

American History

Given the growing gap between the haves and have-nots and the spread of movements aimed at transforming American society, why wasn’t there a revolution of some kind around the turn of the century? Or, was there a revolution? Write one tightly-worded paragraph with a clear argument and back up your argument with course material. Two books are required reading for this class:
