The first of this week’s readings in Reading the World is Aristotle’s Rhetoric. This is where the idea of the persuasive appeals that you learned about in English 101 originated.
Instructions

A) In a paragraph of at least 4 complex sentences summarize how Aristotle defined rhetoric.

B) Provide specific real-life examples from politics, TV advertising, movies, etc. of a) pathos; b) logos; and c) ethos. You will provide 1 example for each and explain how it demonstrates pathos, logos, and ethos.

Clearly label your responses A and B.
