The Bible teaches us not to put so much energy into hoarding earthly possessions. The destruction and theft of earthly possessions is a given. “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal.
For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” (Matther 6:19-21) It is as if there is no protections for our belongings on earth. The earthly possessions are temporary and ultimately worthless while the treasures that we store up in heaven are eternal and priceless.The government was very instrumental in creating the internet.
They should have some control over what transpires over the internet in our country. We must be the guardians of our own privacy by protecting our identities the best we can. But there are many different avenues for hacker and bad actors to take advantage of the vastness and power of the internet to our demise. We should be able to trust our government to look out for our best interests and try to keep us safe from harm. The government should be given some ability to “spy” on the internet in order to keep Americans safe.
