  • To evaluate active and passive filter circuits using analysis, simulation and circuit measurement

Materials

  • Diligent Analog Discovery II NI Edition
  • Waveforms 2015 software (Network Analyzer)
  • Analog discovery parts kit
  • NI Multisim workbench

Passive Filters

Active Filters

Include circuits of your chosen filters

 

Procedure

  1. Select a filter design from your textbook. Design, simulate fabricate and test and perform the analysis for your filter.
  • Complete #1 for one passive filter
  • Complete #1 for one Active filter
  • Measure component values an use the measured values for your analysis.

  • Compare the three results from each method. What do you believe are the sources of error. Which value do you think is more accurate? Describe the role off rate of your filter.
