Questions: After hearing these two stories, how do you feel about gun control? Which parts of each side’s argument did you find effective, and why? How should we, as a society, deal with this issue?

Essay instruction:
Write a short (~600 word) essay about problem in this essay and takes a position on these stories.
Make sure to save your work as you go. (I copy and paste my own writing into .txt files as I work.)
Include a title for your essay.
Make sure you end your intro paragraph with a clear thesis statement that articulates your position on the issue.

Conclude with a concise summation of how your evidence/examples support your position and add a twist or a bit of extra food for thought as a final flourish.
