• techniques for directing attention at particular stories
• indications of bias by the writers
• the overall quality of the information provided – was the organization reasonably easy to follow, was the information presented clearly and provided in-depth or as “infotainment,” and did the reporting appear credible and balanced?
2. Analysis of the strengths and weaknesses of each news format for covering politics. What did each format of news do well, and what was problematic?
