The paper must meet and fulfill the following aims:
To understand children’s experiences of living under a constant state of war; the impact on their lives, their resilience and their long-term recovery process.
To discover how children can best be supported in a war torn country and how to enhance their resilience to help them cope with future wars and conflicts.
To influence international policy and practice to better meet the needs of building the resilience of children and young people in conflict areas.
