Part 2

Write a 300-word minimum reflection post on all the information you took in. Point out specific examples to support your claims. Spend the first part of your post engaging the topic of class inequality. Be specific. Here are some questions to consider:

What is your reaction to this film? What do you think of Jane Elliot’s classroom experiment? What does this say about the power of education? What is the take home message and how can we apply this to “real life” schools, where much of the curriculum implicitly glorifies the dominant group while minimizing subordinated groups?

You should thoughtfully engage at least two of your peers’ posts. Your goal is to create dialogue. Dialogue is more than simply stating “I agree” or “Good point.” Be specific, and put in an effort to build dialogue and conversation.
