You should post a weekly reflection on each of the week’s readings of at least 200 words. This is a place to engage in dialog and develop unique insights about the material we have curated for you. What did you find interesting? Surprising? Provocative? What shifted how you see the internet in our lives? Are there perspectives the author does not address? Enter into a dialog with the authors and with the teaching team. You are welcome to dialog with what we talked about in class as well.
Reflections will be graded as check-plus, check minus, and zero. Check plus reflections engage the big ideas presented in the readings and lectures and generate new insights. They also clearly address all readings. Check minus reflections dialog with all assigned readings but seem like a rushed or shallow treatment of the issues at stake. Zero point reflections are missing, incomplete, or do not dialog with all of the readings. We will drop the three lowest reflection scores.
