1. Why were women so “preoccupied” with male domination in the late 19th century?
2. To what degree do you feel male domination was exaggerated or not by female writers (provide basic research to back up your view.)
3. In what ways were females “held back” prior to the mid-20th century? What types of things couldn’t they do?
4. Is the protagonist in “The Yellow Wallpaper” suffering from a mental disorder? Post-partum depression? Or something else? (You opinion).
