Political science

Write a paper that explains how and why you think Donald Trump won the presidency.
There is one 4-page minimum midterm paper required for the course that represents a major research project. This page requirement does not include the

cover page or reference page (or appendixes, if you attach any). To clarify, completing four pages is defined as filling in the ENTIRE four pages from

top to bottom. If you have writing that concludes halfway on the fourth page, that means you have completed only 3 and 1⁄2 pages and will be docked

points accordingly. Make sure you cite sources in MLA format as you use them (do not just list them at the end of the paper. Learn how to properly

cite/document sources at https://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/ ; https://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/747/01/ ). It is recommended that you start

with an outline and use headings to break up the sections of your paper.
Papers are required to have/be:
 A minimum of 4 pages (cover page and reference page do not count toward your
page requirement)

 Double spaced
 1 inch margins on all sides
 A cover page listing: Your name, course, date
 A Works Cited (sometimes known as a Reference Page) at the end of the paper
listing all sources used
 In twelve (12) point Times New Roman font
 In-text citations using MLA format
 Page numbers
 A minimum of 4 *“reliable” sources
*A note on reliable sources. As this is a college level course determine what sources you would like to use. However, be mindful and especially cautious

about using unreliable sources such as Wikipedia. Sources like Wikipedia are a great starting place to get some background information on a subject

matter, but since almost anyone can edit an article on the site, the information is at times unreliable. Reliable sources include but are not limited

to: information from government agencies, scholarly writings, research papers, content from newspapers, academic magazines and websites.
