Motivation

A nursing professional is faced with many challenges: patient care, staff demands, mandatory overtime, continuing education, and hospital merging or closings are just a few. These challenges can quickly drain one’s motivation, but if you are going to persevere as a professional nurse, you must maintain your motivation.

What do you do to motivate yourself at work and in your personal life? Do you have any tricks to staying motivated, even when you’ve got so many demands on you? How do you handle those unpredictable moments, when your family or your work seems to be “too much” for you?
You may respond to as many of these questions as you like.
