Each lesson should address one of each of the following decoding-related skills: Greek/Latin words, affixes, phonics, and syllabication. Use standard lesson-plan format. The four lesson plans can be put on 2 pages. 2 plans per page.

Write an essay of 500 words on the following:

1. Identify two effective pedagogical strategies to decode words using knowledge of phonics, syllabication, and word parts. Analyze, appraise, and explain why you think they are effective.

2. Using examples, explain how you would transition adolescent students into writing by linking any two of the lesson plans developed for this assignment with two writing activities that further support the lesson content.
