This assignment requires that you identify a lifting task which is performed at a frequency or weight for which there may be a potential hazard.
-Collect all measurements necessary to analyze the task using the NIOSH lifting equation, including measurements at the origin and the destination.
-Evaluate the task using the methodology described in the NIOSH lifting equation.
-Identify one or more factors that may be modified to reduce the potential hazard.
-Re-evaluate the task with the modified measurements until the task falls into an acceptable risk.
This paper should include an introduction, a description of the task or situation you are studying, a table of the measurements collected, a narrative of the evaluation of the results, a description of proposed modifications, and a summary of the project. You should have, per APA 6th edition guidelines, a title page and a page for your reference(s).
