You also need to read the lecture and the readings for the topic “Media”
Then you need to answer Dr. Beznosov’s questions:
1) What “mismatch” does Lewis describe between the politics of large numbers of the people and the politics of their representatives? Why does Lewis say that the use of polls in the United States is undemocratic? Isn’t this a contradiction? (no more than 300 words)
2) The first rule of journalism school is that reporters should remain objective. What forces get in the way of the objectivity of mainstream media?? (no more than 300 words)?
